What to expect on your first visit

CONSULTATION

You will speak directly to Dr. Sainato, D.C. to discuss your condition to determine if chiropractic care is the best course of treatment. In addition, you will be asked to provide your past medical history for the doctor, this is a good time to inform Dr. Sainato, D.C. of any previous x-rays or MRIs that you may have had in the past as he can review them with you at this time.

EXAMINATION

After reviewing your past medical history and consulting with you about your  condition, Dr. Sainato D.C. will perform an examination to determine what course of treatment is most appropriate for your condition.  Many times chiropractic care can help with musculo-skeletal complaints but on occasion, chiropractic care is not recommended and at that time referral to a specialist may be made or alternative treatment options provided.

TREATMENT

Chiropractic adjustment is a procedure in which  chiropractors use their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled force to a spinal joint. The goal of this procedure, also known as spinal manipulation, is to improve spinal motion and improve your body's physical function.
